[unsolved] Virus C freezes at OS screen and LFOS/MOD leds blinking

Hi everyone! New here...

So, my problem is this.
I was working on Cubase last night and my Virus C was doing just fine, until some of the sounds were making this auful noise. Like a white noise. And even if I turned it off and then on again, it did the same thing in those particular sounds. Anyway, at some point, I had to restart the Virus and when I did, it stuck on the OS version screen (I have 6.5 352) and the 2 top LFOS/MOD leds (the one marked as 1 and the other as 2/3) were fading on and fading off. From that point on, it always does the same thing, except for one time that started correctly, but now it's stuck again. Searched the manual, searched the forums...didn't find something to help me. Seems like it's trying to boot but it can't. Anyway, if anyone knows anything, or at least point me to the right direction (other than to contact with access' tech support, that's my last resort :D), I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance and please excuse my English.

Ok, after a lot of "trial and error", what I found was this. I dissasembled the bottom of the unit and tried to press the 2 eeproms on the mainboard while I switched it on and it worked. I realized that maybe the legs (or some of them) were not connecting as they should, or maybe their sockets had the problem. Long story short, I desoldered the sockets (and throw them away :D) and then I soldered the eeproms directly to the mainboard. My Virus is working again. 5 hours later...still going good. If anything goes wrong again, I'll let you know.

Dead again! :(
I give up!!!

mine had the same issue, just for the record, discovered some hassle with the 5 pin voltage regulator just before one of the resistors before the flipflop IC popped off. I do suppose it's a power issue overall.
