You can only edit categories of sounds in banks A and B. Load your sound, press the main EDIT button (next to the SYSTEM/MULTI EDIT button), then press the PARAMETER buttons until you see "CATEGORY #1" or "CATEGORY #2" on the display, press the VALUE +- buttons until you see your desired category on the display, press STORE two times.
