reseting virus c

I uploaded loadsa patches from the net, and i dont like any of em, my synth seems like a mess an i cant find anythin i'm looking for, is there any way of reseting it back to how I got it when I bought it cos I can't really take this anymore.

It's just a case of getting the factory patches from the Access website, load them back in and you'll have all the patches you started with.

its a virus c. And by defaults, i mean that I want to be able to reset the machine so it is exactly the same as when I first took it out of the box. Thanks for all your help guys.

well there is only one way i could think this could be done...

please someone correct me if im wrong!!

re-install the OS the VC came with (my guess is OS6)..
then load the factory patches (from the access page, (like smag said))
install the 1024 patches again..

the new OS should change the settings back to the origianl setting...all the rest will install sounds back to the original...

ive looked and i cant seem to find an easy full reset function....but, if n e body knows of something...specially u access guys..please fill us in!

No need to reinstall the OS. Only the 1024 sound patch (for all those banks).

What you do is hold the LFO Shape button down as the Virus boots. Next, send the 1024 update across, and the ABM.mid... that should be as good as gold.

There IS another reset procedure, which doesn't load anything on boot except the necessary things to recieve an OS update (doesn't even start the sound engine), but I can't remember it now.

The AMB.mid comes in the OS zip. Just send that to your synth, and after two minutes your banks A and B will be factory default.

Page 56, it says LFO Shape.

As for the Rack XL, hold down the 3 buttons: PARAMETER left, VALUE - and MULTI when powering it up.
