After sending new 6.5 and the 1024 to the virus the screen says Recv. last bank 15. When I press store to burn it does not do anything.
Any idea where I have gone wrong? :?: :?:

What program do you use to upload the OS?
I had trouble in loading the OS with Mediaplayer.
You could try to load that OS from a sequencer.

Finally got the 6.5 to burn in after using Mediaplayer. Still no luck with the 1024. This must be a Mediaplayer problem.

This must be a Mediaplayer problem.
Mediaplayer stops the playback with haste so the last data packet isn't sent completely. When I tried to update with Mediaplayer I got data loss message from my Virus and then the Virus entered the wait state ("Waiting for data").

Hi juho--
It seems funny but I redown loaded the new OS and it finalized after transfer from Mediaplayer. After several attempts at the 1024 install it stops at a message -- Recv last bank 15, but will not continue onto the store command. I've tried at least 6 times. I get a Bank not complete message if I try to reinstall. Well at least we are updated to 6.5 351. We have to be thankful for that.
Thanks for ur comments

I'm sorry to hear about the Media player business. I keep lauding it for being great for updates. Now I know there can be trouble.
I think I loaded my 1024 with Nuendo. Look for a demo version or, hate to say it but it can be justified if you just use it for updates, a warez sequencer.

bump out of the blue - has anyone experienced anything similar, and/or did we find a solution to this?
[edit: got the OS no problems, but the extra banks are still elusive!]
thanks :)
