Please help, Virus A vs. B and C

Hi, I'm about to purchase a virus A tabletop module, I've played on a kb model for 6 months and fell in love. I wanted to know if there was a huge difference in sounds or functionality. Also wanted to know if I would be able to upgrade to the latest OS. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

this chart compares specs of all the virus models. im not sure if the chart contains the current changes to the C series OS though. (the new extra filter)..

when u ask upgrading to the latest OS. do u mean upgrading to the latest OS for each model? u can only upgrade the OS for the particular model A,B or C....the latest OS is only for the C series, not the older models..

Thanks, this helped a lot. I'm trying to choose between the A and B right now, I don't think I can swing the C just yet, but I've got to get a virus.
It looks like the A is only 20 bit and only 12 voices among other drawbacks. I think I'm gonna try to go with the B.

The virus B is a good choice. I had one for a while, but now I've got a indigo II.
