Anyone else using it? I just got a copy and have been experimenting with it. Any other groups or forums for it?

I have a demo copy.

Its pretty powerful for sampling! In fact, Monolake uses it and helped to program it.

However it seems a little superficial.

If it done MIDI sequencing, I'd be very tempted to use it as my main sequencer.

I wish it had midi sequencing too. But I could run that along with my Machinedrum and use the Live for audio sequecning.

Me, I love Ableton Live. It's the only software that I've got installed both on my Mac and my PeeCee. Absolutely grand.

Good for conforming samples you've got of live drummers with a tempo-based track.

VST plugin support, and ReWire. Excellent.

The only thing I miss is the ability to use changing meters/time signatures.

All in all, I simple love it. Elegant user interface, far-ranging functionality. And, unlike many software sequencers, it doesn't try to be something it's not.

Highly recommended.

I'm really getting into it. I think I may buy it when I get a job.
