Dont dispair Anton. This kinda shit happens no matter what make of synth you buy these days. Nord, Nova's, Waldorfs.
Most people have teething problems with new synths (I have). But in the long run it will all work out good for you.
BTW how old is ur Virus? I sent my Virus away to Germany and after 6weeks of waiting (and hearing nothing) I demanded Turnkey to send me a new one or refund my money. In my case, my dealer Turnkey was at fault.

The discovered bug concerned just a MIDI related thing, that can interfer with the usage with Sounddiver Virus.
I presume that your flash rom is defective and must be exchanged. I also presume you already contacted support@access-music.de, right?

I have very good experiences with Access support.
Mailed them my problem.
Wihtin a day I received an answer.
In my case, my Virus C needed mainboard exchange, so I had to send it to Germany.
I brought it to UPS at Friday...thursday next week UPS delivered it back.
Problem solved!
Regards
Tom
