gettung sounds from seq to virus c

hi everyone

im trying to get new sounds into my virus from my seq.

i go to system / multi edit and choose force to edit bufffer... with that still showing in the deplay, i press play over the midi info of the sounds at 4 BPM

at this point, someone told me that im suppose to see the name of the sound show up in my display at which point, i press pause on the seq and store the sound somewhere in banks A /B...

the prob is, i don't see anything show up on my disply, the seq just keeps playing and nothing seems to happen at all...

does anyone know whats going on?

maybe i didnt ask before...what sequncer are you using?

another thing too...have you tried dumping a whole bank from the sequencer, instead of going through the bank sound by sound?

make sure the current patch is in the display!

Loading banks and patches is an absolute breeze.

PS - I didn't think you needed to go into any Menus to load patches and banks.
You just play the midi file in the sequencer.
