I wonder if some kind member could e-mail me the Virus C Factory Banks C to H (with Soft Knob options) in individual midi file form?


As far as I'm aware these are only available as part of the OS update on the Access Site and therefore automatically load straight to ROM banks.

I think you can 'retrieve' the banks from your Virus with Sounddiver then save them as individual midi files.

Anyway, I'm having problems getting Sounddiver to work with my new C otherwise I'd do it myself.

yes. you have to retrieve them, open a new library and copy the sounds in it. You can also edit them and save them to another location within the memory manager.


Anyway, I can't get Sounddiver to work with my new C otherwise I'd have a go myself.

I though so.
I remember doing this with my old Virus B.

As I can't get Sounddiver to work with my C though, could you send me the Midi Files?
It would be much appreciated :)

The only other alternative is for me to copy all the patches one by one from Banks C - H to Banks A & B.
Then dump these.
.........a rather time consuming task though!!
I can think of better ways to spend my Saturday afternoon :D
