Hey

This is the first time i fall in love with a machine!! I was really surprised when i tried a friend's Mac G4 PowerBook w/ Mac OS X. Now I realize why you guys, Mac users, can't even think about just seeing a windows based interface!! What really amazed me is speed and ergonomy (very subtle differences that make your life easier): there is no comparison to make with any PC i think.
very few examples:
- when you have tons of open windows, u just press F9 or F10 and get a zoom out of your desktop so that u can choose the desired window.
- when u minimize a movie that is being played, u can still see it playing in the task bar
- when u insert a disk, remove it and insert another one, u don't have to refresh to display the contents of the last inserted one, this is automatic
- same thing for CDs
- the laptop i saw was equipped with bluetooth, it was possible to move the cursor using any bluetooth mobile phone!
etc etc.

The machine was speedy, it was a 866Mhz w/ 6XXMo RAM i think, the display quality was GREAT, sounds were ok for a basic soundcard....
I also have to say the truth, i was sure that one day i'd have to try mac, but i think i was pushing this deadline farward and trying to stick to pcs as much as i can since i am used to it since i was a teenager, and also, because i was aware it will make this effect to me... simply because i heard too good and only good things about mac.
Now, it is very simple, it made its effect on me and i am thinking of (seriously) leaving this PC s_h_i_t i am sticking to since i was 14 as soon as i get some $$$ ! I think it is a fact, Mac rules!!!
