Does any have the soundbanks C & D, before the 1024?

I was wondering if someone had these banks backed-up before the 1024 patch update...There was some good sounds.

I thought the 1024 patch update would leave Bank C & D untouched...I was wrong.

So does this mean I have to reinstall the OS, copy the C & D banks to a Sound Diver Library. Then re-install 1024 patches update?

Which Virus do you own? There are more than one model with 1024 patches, and the sounds are not the same...

Oh sorry I own the Virus KC...it shipped with the new OS 6.5. So I'm looking for the C & D bank that comes with the new OS.

I'm a little confused by all this.

In the Access Downloads section you have :

The OS6.5 update Download which includes -
a) the new OS .mid file
b) 1024 expansion .mid file (overwrites banks C-D)


There is also a seperate Download for the 1024 expansion on it's own.
So........
Are Banks C & D in this file different to those in the OS6.5 1024 expansion?

If you're after Banks C & D from the OS 6.5 then I have these.
This is what you appear to be asking for in your last post.

Well I re-installed the new OS 6.5 hoping to regain the C & D banks used in the demo song...but to no avail the re-installed kept my banks intact...and didn't re-install the demo song or the C & D banks.

So does anybody know what I can do?

I'm thinking about contacting Access to see if they can send me these banks.

I don't really want the demo song back...I just want the C&D banks that are associated with the demo song.

Well I contacted Access and discovered that banks C&D are the same before and after the 1024 update...good to know.

After u upgrade from OS 5.5 to 6.5 banks C & D are the same presets. Is this because u cant dump banks C and D???

I want to make a back up of banks C & D but I cant see how to do that.
