Hi - waiting for the PoCo Virus.......

I've just bought a PoCo Firewire (which is fantastic) and am eagerly awaiting the Virus.

Anyone know it's release date yet ?

I have just ordered the TC Powercore Firewire along with the Virus and Multi DSP Licence. Cant Wait!!! The Virus is available around March 29th alond with the Multi DSP.

I am paying around 1400 GB Pounds for the whole package 8O . When you have that feeling that you need to get something no matter what - this was that feeling with the powercore firewire and virus.

I' m also new to the forums, joined for the same reason as BC. Been playing with the demo of the poco virus and its bloody nice. Release date keeps getting put back, TC support seem to think its the end of this week (16th) but access are saying end of April, so who knows :) Cant wait tho, done some a/b tests with a hardware virus and they sound identical. Will be getting another poco end of april just to run virus's lol ;)

Received the PCFW about a week ago and none of the Firewire ports worked 8O and I tried everything but no luck. Getting a replacement send through soon. :) They said it was very rare for that to happen. I downloaded the Virus Powercore Demo and loaded the patches into my Virus C and they sounded really nice (nice free soundset). Cant wait to compare them and I am sure no diffence will be between them.

I have just tested both them out using the same patches in both the hardware virus c and the powercore version. I can say that there is no difference at all to my ears. They both sound quality :wink:
