ReFX Slayer2. This sounds quite good as guitar modelling.
I didnt like that 80s style pickguitar, the other sounded ok.. but still better to use a real guitar

Of course! That's obvious. But for example I don't have a guitar not to mention I could play it well, so this modelling have to do. This is not nearly as good as the real thing but better than most samples I've heard.
I just found out why that damping sounded odd on the clips. The modwheel controls the damping. Now it sounds a bit more natural.

Damn, i forgot to say that - this is probably a great way for a keyboardist "play" guitars

Yes. I just tried out different settings and that plugin can produce quite good modellings. When thrown in a mix an average listener wouldn't even notice a difference.

Nice! Maybe i outta check that program out also since i wanna play around with a guitar, all my guitars are still at my brothers apartment

I've heard good things about that plug-in too.
I have a guitar in Ausi still, but sending it will cost too much.

As you are into indepth programing more than anything else, it will be perfect for you! Well I think it will be anyway.
