Well todays the day!!!

NORD 3 is cuming this morning and cant wait to get my greasy little mittens on the beast!!! Lets hope postman puts his footdown!!

Also how fucking lush is the KORG TRITON!!!! :twisted:

Borrowed it for a month off a mate last night and fuck me im so impressed!! Such a soft pleasant clean sounding synth!! might have to extend my loan with it!! really impressed!!! Menus a bit of a bitch but the actual sounds are really lush!! Just what im looking for!! very very impressed!!!

Anyone own one? :)

Yes my m8 has the Korg Triton Studio 88 and its very good indeed. Its honestly difficult to see how it can get any 'better'. The Triton has quite a few really good Wavestation pad sounds which are just jaw droppingly good. My m8 has a Jupiter 8 aswell......such a fuking bastard! I loved the JP8 when I had one.....

I had a Nord 3 for a while. The Virus and Nord 3 go VERY well together. I think u will really like it. They are the only 2 VA's I would part money for. I could get another N3....but Im more tempted to get a Prophet 5 or Macbeth M5.

Oh yeah, there is a guy on the net who has sampled 128 patches from the Wavestation so thats its compatible for the Triton range.

Just coming back to the Nord 3....

The FM implementation is so cool. U can make just about any FM sound with it. Overall the N3 is more digital sounding than the Virus....but thats not an issue. The N3 is brighter sounding than the Virus....and is capable of making more 'happy' 80's sounds. THe VIrus in comparision is noticebly darker and atmospheric.

Yeah when i went and tested the Nord 3 out I was on it for nearly an hour in the shop and i found myself in the FM section quite allot and was very impressed! allot of capabilities here!!

I hear this is the section clavia worked on most in comparission to the Nord Lead 2!

But yeah that pad in that link is well lush DS!!

I Like all the background layers you can add to the pads on the Triton!! Can create some really swooshy spacey warm atmospheric effects to go with there dream pads!!

I hope the nord is as good as the triton for pads!! But still cant believe how nice it really is!! :D

I Will let you know DS what I think of the Nord soon as the bloody post man cums!!!

Knowing my luck there probably all on strike again!!! :D

All I can say at this moment is fuck me!!!!

What a synth! so much quality and depth to it! real clean and warm sounds! A lot of fullness and qualityness to its charachter!!

The distortion and the FM sections on it Im really really in to!!! Amazing!!! The distortions on it are so damn and FAT and give off some really good effects off it I cant seam to get from the Virus!!

As for the LFO section!!! well what can I say??? really gonna help change my sound/style alot!! really easy to use and sounds truely the Dogs dangleeess!!

Will post my new track up when i have some eliments in it off the Nord

Not even got in to trying to programme my own from scratch but will do once I start getting in to it!! 8)
