I've been really looking around calling all the access dealers in the U.S. The best deal I found was @ manny's in New York. For a new "C" he would let me have it for $1,475. He also has a floor model "C" he would let go for $1,350. Ask for Joe P. I'm pretty sure this deal would be for anyone since the guy did not know me. I really hope access does not get mad @ me or the store for me posting this butt, I thought the guys who are really interested would like to know. The big stores like Sam Ash are still charging $1,995.

Is it the tabletop or keyboard version?
If it is a keyboard version and it is new out of a box, nice deal! :D

novamusik is cheaper, but not by much.....
1449 for a C
1199 for a used C
however, this is an excellent store, I've always had good luck with them. I would expect their used model to be in like new condition.

the above mentioned is for a rack "C" & I just made my order yesterday so I should get it this weekend. Actually got it for $1,450. So I guess my advice is to go with the smaller Indie dealers. They are way more informed on the product & understand the $$ thing so they will make better deals just to push the product not worrying on making the maximum profit. I am so freakin exited. It's been a long time saving  Another cool thing is when you buy out of state you don't have to pay taxes right away. I think you are supposed to claim it at the end of the year though.

you're gonna' love the rack
the soundiver program is a nice interface if you like to use a pc instead the front of the xl. it gives a gui that let's you see all the knobs @ once; no sub menus to click through.

subosc1, did you know Sam Ash owns Manny's Music? So taking that into account you can get the exact same deal at Sam Ash. Just FYI :D
BTW, Joe P is a great guy, I had a pleasure of working with him for a year next door at Sam Ash  I still work there...
Peace.

LOL, you guys can buy electronic stuff way to cheap!
I got my Indigo 2 for 1833 US$, but the "normal" retail price is like 3500 US$ in my country (Denmark)!!!!!
So you guys can buy like twice as much equipment than me!

I've just bought a used Indigo 2 Redback for about 1300$, I think it's an ok price when you see Indigo 1 and Virus KB going for around 1200$... of course you can bargain them cheaper, but people tend to want the same as they paid themselves... :)

That's a bargain price, especially for a Redback, well done son -

I got my Virus C from Musicians Friend for $1379 which included shipping. I had MF look at the Novamusik site where the Virus C is selling for $1379. I had MF match the price, give me free shipping, and I have no interest for 1 year. 10 payments at a little under $140.
