Delta1010 & Emu 1212m

Is it possible to use 2 soundcards at the same time within SX2.

For ASIO the emu card would be used and for audio inputs the delta 1010 would be used.

Do you think this is possible?

What do you mean using "one for ASIO, one for audio?" The Delta 1010 has ASIO drivers too......

I think you only need one or the other....I have never really seen or heard of the need for 2 soundcards, unless say, I use my MOTU 2408mkIII, with SX, but I would like to learn to use protools, so I buy an Mbox too, but not using both at the same time....

What exactly are you trying to do here.....Just to help me understand the problem a bit better...

Yo.

At the moment im using a delta 1010lt.

Im thinking of buying an emu 1212 soundcard that has the emulator X software bundled with it.

After reading a review of it I now know that I can now use the ASIO driver on the delta 1010 while using the Emulator X software.

Before hand I wasnt sure whether the software would run while another cards ASIO was being used.

If I do want to use the EMU ASIO driver tho i cannot use the delta`s inputs inside SX. The only sequencer that can support multi ASIO cards is SONAR. I can live with using the Delta`s ASIO tho.
