V-Synths Side-band filter...

Hi there!

On the video demo for the V-Synth (http://www.roland.com/V-Synth/VideoDemo/mov/VSynth_Stout_56k.mov) there is this thing called 'side-band filter' and I was wandering if this effect could be achieved using the Virus????

The section where he uses the car crash sample, with the side-band filter and distortion sounds so damn amazing!!!!!

Any ideas?

I think most of the distortion in that clip comes from the Cosm effects. I have a VF1 and I love the amp models on that. The V-synth is similar, if not better with the Cosm stuff.

The side band filter I don't think is acheiveable on the Virus. The V-synth is the only thing I've seen with one.

Thats a shame......it sounds really cool with the COSM stuff added!
