I was looking at www.novamusik.com just then....

they have changed the shipping info on the TI series from 'preorder now' to 'ships in 4-7 days' :?:

does that mean the products will be shipping from access in 4-7 days, or better still does nova already have them in stock 8O

i have already emailed nova and will let you know when i get a response.

id like to hear a response from access on this one, as either nova are lying or the latest you will be able to get a TI shipped is in A WEEKS TIME

Hey, you live in a place where its hot all year round, amazing beaches, loads of hot women, your sports teams are actually good at stuff and you have cool animals like kangaroos, wombats and duck billed platapussies :) Give my crappy, cold, wet, overtaxed, full of beckham wannabies and teenage mother, benifit frauding, illegal immigrant, run by big eared americas puppet , shithole of an island some joy..

Hey, if I get it first I will do you some jpegs of me opening the box, setting it up, playing it and maybe some mp3 samples....if I ever get off it :)

got this 'response' to a message i posted on the access mailing list:

Tony
i received the below email from Access
we are the US distributors for Access
all dealers have been notified of the shipping date for the TI products
it is officially end of december
this is the info we have received from Access
i have sent an email to Nova? as a reminder

this was my original message, practically identical to the one i posted here. had to do something to get a straight answer! sorry to hassle everyone...

if nova have updated this info without confirmation from access i would say
other suppliers will be quite annoyed - as a buyer i know id prefer to buy
from a supplier that gets the units into stock sooner rather than later -
i'll guess i will just have to wait and see ;)

no more hassling from me. i'll get it when i get it, if you know what i mean

i think i might have got someone at nova in a bit of trouble
gotta keep them honest i say....

Shops always do this.....hehe

I remember when I went to order my Virus KC from Turnkey....and they didnt have any in stock. They then try to sell me the Virus KB....which had been discontiued 3 months earlier! Hehe you gotta feel sorry for those young telesales lads with the managers gun in their head. They'll say anything to make you commit over the phone.

They have actually increased in price at nova to ?2799 which is ?1510...

http://www.novamusik.com/search.asp?type=Manufacturer&page=1&keyword=20

The price of virus Cs in the US was also pretty close to the price they were selling for in the UK and I think other usa shops like saltwater will follow suit and sell at this price. Lucky SOB if you pre-ordered one for the cheap price tho :)

I think ?1499 is a steal for the TI, I was expecting it to be ?2000+ especially seeing as the C is still selling for ?1450 in the UK shops (I guess it will drop once the TI is in stock.....still wanky tho ;)

yeah i contacted lewis at awave (i have preordered there)

and i explained the situation nova musik got themselves into with access but he obviously didnt consider my contact because at the end of the day the sale is obviously his main priority - not service.

i will still buy through these guys - but it will be the last time :x

I lirk here all the time, but just decided to join. Here is an email I got back from access today regarding the 17th release date in the states.

From Access:
"Hello Jon,

Thank you for your mail.

I'm sorry but we still don't have a final shipping date for the TI series and to be honest, I doubt the 17th of december is acurate, since we didn't start shipping yet and shipping the units to our US distribution in Santa Monica takes a couple of days on its own."

So, dont know when, but it is not looking good for the 17th.

Ah well....we shall see. Whatever happens....it wont be too long now. If it comes before xmas.....then thats great.....but i suspect it might be nearer Jan 1st or shortly therafter. Either way....its not long.

Thanks. Great forum, always active. Anyways, I wish access would post some examples of the new wavetables and the hypersaw. I dont really care if it comes in DEC or JAN, but I would like to hear the damn thing.

i was just browsing access website when I noticed that it still said at the bottom of the TI's details page "available in Dec." so that is at least a good sign.

You can bet you're bottom dollar that will stay there even if shipping date slips to jan/feb.

I remember waiting for the virus powercore, the blurb on the website (will be available late feb) we didnt get it till end of april and they only updated the website to say so when it was shipping, sucked a bit.

You can gaurentee tho it will be announced on the website the exact day it starts shipping 'VIRUS-TI NOW SHIPPING' etc

I just hope it won't take months!

I can wait till jan, but months without a virus would be painful(since i just sold the kc) heh
