I've noticed that all Virus C/kC/Indigo2 owners are selling theirs to get a TI. This has to affect the price. When everybody are selling it's buyers market. For how much are the C series units going at the moment?

Here in the UK Virus C's are going for about ?850
In other words.....1200 euros, 2100AUD, 1600USD
I too have noticed alot of people selling C's and KC's. I think thats a good thing. For one, it allows people to get a powerful synth for affordable money. Secondly....it means Access will probably sell a good number of TI's. Everyone wins.

You're kidding me right 8O
Average price in sweden for a virus c right now; 8000:- SEK (
877Euro, 1 480AUD, 119.868Yen or $1.170)
However noones buys these synths right now; so the price is dropping all the time; there was an person trying to sell his virus c for 4000:- SEK but no one bought it.
If i had the cash, i would have bought it. It's impossible to sell synthesizers here right now but you could find some really fine things really cheap.
A friend of mine acctually bought an Akai 3000xl sampler (not upgraded) for 600:- SEK but it had a SCSI-card + cables.

Nice!
That's for sure; most ads for virus c is around 6000-8000:- SEK but like i said, no one buys them and the price just keeps going down.
It's a shame that i don't got cash now.

nah hes not :D on ebay you can see virus c's in pretty spiffing condition (sometimes as new) peak at around ?850. sometimes less. rarely see any virus c desktops going above ?900 now.
i got my virus b desktop for ?390 on ebay and its in almost flawless condition (apart from a miniscule dent on the left wooden panel less than 1 mm across and all the dead skin that accumulated on the many of the rotaries. ha!) typically i see virus b's go for between ?400 and ?450. never see any virus classics. sometimes they have the racks. virus rack classic was going on turnkey.co.uk for about ?350 but they seem to have sold out. you can still get the virus rack xl for ?550 which is pretty good for a fully fledged virus c minus the control surface.
there have been a few virus As for sale on ebay recently that go insanely cheaply - around ?200 to ?250. saw one on a 'buy it now' for ?230 from germany a few weeks ago and was tempted if not for the import tax and international shipping rate. saw an indigo II on ebay that went recently for ?797 which is an absolute bargain although i rarely see them go for less than ?900

that auction is fine. you have to account for the fact that most people will be trying to keep the price as low as they possibly can because theres no reserve. in the last 10 minutes a whole bunch of people will be frantically clicking refresh and putting in bids to try and snatch it away from the current high bidder (sniping). ive been sniped loads of times ebay. but yea, the price jumps in the last 1 minute quite a bit in most cases. especially if the current price looks too good to be true. and that looks to good to be true. can you see how many people are watching the auction? theres probably more than just that 1 bidder.
