Does anyone have the approximate measurments LxW of the Virus C tabletop version(let me know if your measurments include the wooden panels). What about Indigo LxW. Im considering a project that would incorporate a tabletop virus and building my own cabinet and tearing apart a fatar SL-161 ofr keys. I want to build something as close as possible to a mini moog. SO building something like this http://www.meadowfield.freeuk.com/synth/minicab.html and then putting the Virus C on some sort of hinge. blah

I done something *sort of* similar. I do not recall the dimensions however.

That's pretty cool. I just want to basically build a new case for the Midi controller and mount something like that on the top but with a hinge. How do you like that table top C upright like that, it's probably a lot easier that way.

Its fun, pretty useable. The LCD is still readable although you notice sort of a lag which doesn't appear to be there when viewed at a lower angle (as you would if it was flat on a table).

My concerns were mainly stress placed on connectors at the top, but it's all good; the virus is a well built instrument.

This is the one I did too.

It's a converted chair. I wanted something to go behind my controller that could be tilted, raised and wheeled around. Fucking up an old chair was the best option. :D

This is what it looks like in place.

The approx measurements of the VC are;

Height (highest point from base): 6cm
Width (left to right): 46cm
Depth (front to back at base level) 18cm

All include wooden side panels. The height measurement doesn't include the knobs either by the way.
