Anyone have a patch similar to the one used in the latest Smirnoff Vodka Commercial? It's pretty neat.

most commercials are not made worldwide but only localy in your country by a studio which is hired to do so.
so its reasonable to belive that some havent seen that commercial and dont know what your talking about :D

Yeah I figured those who knew the answer would reply but since I guess there's a few of you who are bored and will post regardless let me explain; the commercial is national (United States) and I don't have a sample, but seeing the US has somewhere over 250 million citizens and most have TVs, I figured chances would be good someone else on this board has seen it and knows what I'm talking about. :wink:

Oh and, Smirnoff is a brand of Vodka for those who live in a bubble. :idea:

I know they had a wicked tune back a few years/months which was by Chicken Lips. I tried recreating the sound but couldnt quite get it although i got quite close, i thought.

Smirnoff is my vodka of last resort.
It is the urine of vodkas. :lol:
I tried a Ukranian Vodka a few months ago named "First Guild".
It scored higher than "Ketel One" by one point by the liquor critics.
It costs about 40% less than "Ketel One" though!
A true value in the world of vodka.
It comes in flavored or pure.

Well the worst booze i've ever had tried was this christmas acctually; smirnoff tasted like liquid gold compared to that vodka i drank this x-mas.

It was an German/russian cheap vodka that cost like $3 for an 70cl bottle - and that tasted like goat-piss or something. And the hangover from that was horrible!

I've always though of Vodka as odorless and tasteless -- much like nerve gas. It turns out, however, that a good friend of mine has had so much misfortune from drinking the stuff that he can't go near the vodka section of the liquor because the smell makes him ill.

We tried tricking him by covering his eyes in a store he hadn't been in before and leading him by the stuff, but he picked up on it no problem. Poor bastard. Note that his background hasn't made him stay out of liquor stores, just away from the parts of the store with vodka in them.

Are you kidding? Smirnoff's been around forever. When I was in high school (back in the '80s) a bottle of that and a chaser would ensure a good friday night! This was long before Absolut and the the deluge of "Premier Vodkas" we have now. I agree that its shite. I much prefer a Grey Goose on the rocks .

Ahhh - you must build up your sense of taste, my friend. I believe a keen sense of taste goes hand in hand with a good musical ear. They're all connected to your sense of aesthetics.
