Hey guys,
Got a new track on Electromancer called "Ferosh". The track is pretty much completed, but I'm having a fuck of a time with the mastering.
On speakers and headphones that can handle sub-bass it sounds fine, but when I put it onto something that can't the bass almost disapears and loses oomph. I think it may be a headroom issue, but I just don't know how to get it working.
Let me know what you guys think. Is it working or not working on your systems? If it isn't please give me some advice on what to fix.
The track is a faster style Breaks track by the way.
I'll just get myself a cup of coffee then i'll comment on this one mate
Alright mate here goes;
This track has had the darkest feel yet mate -> It sure feels paranoid, probably not the best thing for me to listen to since i am going out today. I absolotly love those reversed 'crash'-sounds; nice electric feel to it. The beats are beutiful.
I can't say if it's my phones but there seems to be lacking some 'punch' in the bass. Esp. that "Woooo!"-sound thats featured in the intro aswell - maybe iam completly off with that; but like i said -> for some reason my headphones works great with some tunes and others just doesn't work at all.
Argh - I gotta get ready to go, anyways - i'll give it a few more listens later mate.

Sounds clear to me and the bass is nice. Seems like the mastering problem doesnt't occur on my speakers.

i realy like the flowting sound in the main part it sounds disharmonic and that totaly gives the track a weird dark and cool feeling.
anyhow this problem you were talking about does not accure either.

Sounds sweet on my Tannoys.....Bass is full, mids crunchy, and highs crisp
Very dark, evil, nasty.......just how I like it! Definately getting into DnB territory
Drums rock! Nice attention to detail.....cool track HC!

I have these one set of speakers, that I know if I get tracks to work on, they'll work on anything. It doesn't seem to work on them in the bass region at all. Oh well. It seems most of your systems it's working on, so that's good news.
Thanks for the feedback guys. :D

Yep, she's a dark one alright. Hope it didn't cause any discomfort for your trip.

I used to make heaps of DnB actually and this one is the closest I've come to doing another in ages.
Thanks for the kind words. :D
