Could it be possible to use the mc 303 to sequence a virus ? Or is the Mc 303 a total piece of....work...uhmm when it comes to midi ?
Thanks.

From what i have heard the MC303 isn't that great as an sequencer. - not even not great as an sound-source.

Yes I've had one for four years and it's pretty shit. I always think of getting rid of it, but then I always step back and think that my son (too young yet) might have a little fun if I introduced it to him as a first toy to fiddle with.

Sounds like an plan there mate!

I wouldn't sell the mc303. just keep it as an 'sketchpad' or an toy for you son when he gets older like you said.

However; why don't you try the mc303 as an sequencer if you got one at home?

since I don't own any other piece of hardware, I just don't know yet if the mc 303 will work hope so. Otherwise, well software I guess.

I have an MC505.

Not sure about the full sequencing capabilities. Normally I only use the MC505 to sequence its own internal patches... Or to trigger other synths via the 505's arpeggiator in realtime, over one midi channel at a time.
I'm a midi-phobe, lol.
