Access Virus,
Okay, I spent a lot of time with the Access guys today trying to get answers to the Virus TI questions you guys had.
They are still programming the TI which will be available in release in about three or four weeks.
The wave tables are of course, modeled, and there are 64 waves available. They are designed by Access, so you don't get PPG waves and things like that. You cannot yet build your own wavetables or import your own waves, but those things may happen in the future in updates. Wave tables currently range from a single sine wave to as many as 32 waves. The maximum possible is 128. Currently, 40 different wavetables have been programmed and more are on the way, with a target of 64. Polyphony has been increased dramatically and supersaws sound awesome. There is now reverb and reverb can be assigned separately to each multi-timbral part. Destinations for routing have been doubled. I think that's about it.
