Beatiful Xerxes!

Had it on repeat without noticing it, doing homework... that's a compliment for this kind of music, I guess? (and hope, haha)

Well done!

this is excelent
great intro, the beat could change a bit to give the song ever more depth
maybe triphop or down tempo like beat.
i realy missed a deep male vocal on this one.

great work!

thanks fellas for nice feedback :)
i guess my intent with music in general is for it to work like diskonext said.. just have it on without needing to listen carefully.. background chill..

male vocals i cant stand most of the time :=)

Good work as usual.....

:)

I would have liked to hear a triphop drum loop come in at some point, it might give the track more groove and feel. Did you try this?

thanks jasdee! didnt try this, but it did cross my mind. i think the main reason i didnt is because it would have changed the track into something i didnt want. i wanted it to be "boring" and chilled.. with as little groove as possible hehe...

but you might be right that the tune would be "better" with some more elements of trippyness.

Hmm, tried again in one of my patient moments. I waited for about 10 min. and finally it went "Cannot display page, bla. bla. bla.". I give up :(

Really nice track Xerxes! Cool and layed back, with heaps of atmosphere. Really like the synth bells that hold the rythm of the track together - like Jase though I may have liked a little more prominent beat at some stage, but it definitely works as it is.

The production is really good. Maybe the smallest of pickiness may have been the power of the kick when it makes it's way in. I think a Massive-attack (the band) style of kick would have suited. As there isn't much bass end, a basey kick with a long tail would have fit really well. This is more personal choice than a production gripe though really.

All up, a cool track mate. Definitely worth the DL! :D
