I think it's the Buchla 200E modular.

I think it is trent reznors (NIN) studio. That was going to be my guess as well, but I couldn't find the cricle that is usually in the middle of the Buchlas.
Looks like an analog sequencer. Brands are of no importance since these things were limited on production and are long gone.

Looks like a few of the Buchla modules to me too actually. 303 was looking at those a while back. Patch retention even after you take the patch cables out! Cool machine indeed.
Doepher,Buchla, or vintage Roland are all out of my price range though.

Yeah guys that's one of reznor's room. Just asking because I'm about to dive into the modular game. I found prices on the buchla and i was like "holly priest come here and do me like an alter boy." I can't dive in that deep to start out... lol. I just sold my Future Retro 777 so right now i've just got.. my roland 60, a Sequential Pro-1, sherman filterbank 2 then about 20 analog guitar pedals. then for pads and crap.. using reason, kontakt, absynth3,live4,reaktor4. So i'm thinking of selling my juno 60 and starting out with like 10 or 11 modules of doepfer and 2 of the metasonix modules.. prolly the VCO and the Waveshaper. Planning on tossing in a roland space 201 echo in the next month prolly..... it's this or buy a monomachine which i hear is amazing as well but....modular seems like a gap i could fill in my studio... we'll see, lol. I'm getting all the modules with blue led's btw....mmmm.....;)

Fucking hell! 8O ....
That is one huge start into the modular world! Wish you lived next door to me mate - I'd be over your house with a hard disk recorder loading up on samples once a month or so.
Let us know how it all goes.

any of my brothas here have any modular stuff? Just trieng to figure out what other people are peepin out... i know there are modules out there that do crazier things than the doepfer stuff but it's WAY more money per modules... so i 'm gonna get some basic evil sounds going then.... go ahead and try out the wiard stuff... wanna stay with the 3U size. hey.. anybody know how many modules you can fit into a 19 rack size? buddy of mine is a wood building genius and is going to build me a really nice wooden case for the modular stuff.. should be fun, peace out guys
