Hey all,

Xeeban, a member at the Tweakheadz forum posted a cool link that compares Virus synths:

Also, the admin of the site posted a cool link on Ring Modulation:

Tweak wrote:
Ring Modulation is a process where 2 signals are "multiplied". The orginal oscillator is combined with an internal "carrier tone" and the result is a signal that is totally different from the original. Often it sounds sort of like a distorted bell-tone. Used lightly it can add grit and depth, used heavily creates strange overtones and dissonant sounds.

Just thought Id'd share for those who might want to read about great synths and their features instead of working today.

Take it easy!

You are quite welcome, Blay.

I am envious of you that you are off today as I am currently hating my job.

I will toast you on my next mid-week drunk...I mean sick day. 8)

I like ring mod'.

Can often tend to make a benign patch into a professional-sounding one.

Thanks for the links Alex... :D

Yep, I'm a fan of the ring mod too actually. Used well it adds a cool characture to some patches.
