For anyone who's interested , i made a track with a sample made by hollowcell , on my soundclick page .
It's not mastered or even mixed well but that's not my job hehe .
(I mean i don't have any mixing mastering skillz  )
But anyway i hope you enjoy and i hope hollowcell doesn't mind me posting it here.
Enjoy...
P.S.: i made position 190 out of 6.458 songs in electronica - dance genre
and
Flabby is in place 128 and Fxs in place 190 of 6.458 songs in the electronica - dance chart on soundclick Woohooo!!!!

You chopped the sample up really well Fasttracker! Sounds cool mate. For those of you interested in listening to the original sample, it's the "heavyelectronic2" MP3 on my soundclick.

Now to the track itself.

First off, I really like the way you chopped up the sample. It sounds much better than the way I played it when I recorded that demo. The structure with the synths and stuff is pretty cool too. Maybe the only sound I didn't like was starting off bass-bell kinda thing.

Drums - This track needs a big beat breaks drum line. You could beef the drums up in the mastering stage heaps, but layering some more hits before you master would make a pumping rhythm line. Having some harder snares and rides for the sections with the loud part of the heavyelectronic sample would be cool too.

Of course it's your baby mate. I'm just speaking from my person preference (which in a lot of cases isn't the same as everyone else  ).

All up a cool track. I know I said it already, but I really liked what you did with that sample!

Thnx Hollowcell.
I'll try and come up with a new bassline for the track , i showed the track to a friend of mine and he didn't like the bass-bell kinda sound either.
And about the kick , maybe layer it with a simple sine-wave to get some bass and then add a lot of compression (the snare could use some compression too).
I'm glad i didn't screw up the sample hehe.

P.S:I had the same feeling about the synth sound , it's so fat and full , i tried to fix the problem by rolling off some bass so it doesn't interfere with the kick etc.. but it doesn't sound right.
