The DS8 Is Korgs answer to the Yamaha DX7. Ive sampled some stella sounds off it which are trully unique to the synth. But it has the most godawful presets. Until you come across one that sounds unlike anything youve heard. It can be amazing and it does goad people in to thinking its a meek and mild synth, but I have in there now some beautiful textures. that show off the potential of the thing.
Its FM sounds without the huge complexity of Yamahas programming, Im just wanting to get a decent budget effect unit in the region of ?80 - 120.
Also opent to any swaps of modules.
