Problem with soundiver.
I load presets into bank a, and The little SE appears buts nothing comes through to the virus.
Spent ages last night and still couldn't get it sorted

I never use sounddiver. It has only caused me trouble :? Just do a SysEx-dump from your sequenser.

I agree with Onkel, I gave up trying to use sound diver with my virus c and just use sysex dumps with cubase.

Try changing the MidiControl to LoPage=SysEx
Double check to make sure you are sending and recieving on the correct ports and channels.
I'm just a beginer but these are things that fixed problems for me regarding SoundDiver not talking to the Virus. I don't know about the other settings in your setup.

What soundcard you using?
I used to use an Audiophile but found it wouldn't work with SoundDiver very well at all. I upgraded to an RME HDSP and it worked a treat. The soundcard is very important in getting Sounddiver to work.

Interesting - I was using a M-audio when I couldn't get it to work.
Definately works though - I got it working with my RME, like I said.
I think im going to sell my virus c now, its way too much messing about and seems very buggy and glitchy how you cant reset back to factory settings etc.
I just want to make music not spend all my time messing with something that doesnt work properly,
im trying to use borg station and it doesnt seem to pick up midi files and i cant find anything in the help files with it that explains anything i need.
I just want to reset it back to its factory defaults.....surely it cant be this hard to perform such a basic task?

Do you mean factory defaults only or factory sounds as well?
Somehow ive saved over some presets and the stored presets no longer sound as they did when i first got it.
I just want the virus back to how it would be if you bought one new, the factory sounds etc.
Soundiver doesnt work, i dont have a sequencer to upload files.
Im seriously considering getting rid of this after only one week now as I could get like 3 classic vintage synths for that money and have no problems.
ive decided to plug away for now to try and get this damn thing working. So far its looking like the m-audio delta10/10lt soundcard cant carry that much sysEx data.......
This is what i think the reason is now, i'll update soon

i use FLStudio as well so I'm in the same boat you are. i tried sounddiver through my presonus firepod and it don't work... laaaame.
and how could u ever want to get rid of such a beautiful synth. so waht if you can't transfer patches. the sound is amazing and u'll be hard-pressed to find anything that sounds as insane...

Borgstation you can send a whole bank from Borgstation to Virus C.
However I can only get one patch at a time from Virus C to Borg.
Have you try the full retail version of SoundDiver? I heard the bundle version that is free on Virus website doen't work too well
