Is there a program that I can use that would tell me all the tweaks I made to a patch. The problem is that I mangle a sound for an hour and by the time I like what I did, I can't remember what parameters I changed. I use sysex to store the new patch, but would like to be able to see exactly what parameters I tweaked from the original patch to make the new one.

You could do a controllerdump and see the all the parameter settings but it?s gonna be a hell to go through all the controllers and polypresure-values. Or you could try your luck with sounddiver. I think you can see all setting in there but i?m not sure. I don?t use sounddiver...

Yes Sounddiver can help you with this. You can take a patch, mangle it and then by doing "save as" you can view the 2 patches' parameters in the editor and see what's changed. The editor gives you all the values at a glance pretty much.

You can do this by ear too (well I know you can on the C series anyway).

Press store once, then press the undo button - this will let you compare the now edited patch with the previous version.

Another way is just to save it to another slot and reference the two that way. :D
