Buy from JRR shop if your in the USA. Use the coupon code 'forum' at the checkout and get 10% off ALL purchases......pretty cool ;)

Australia is around $2200-2500 Aud range. (RRP is $2800)
I picked up a studio excess model not used for $1600 Aud and boy does it rock. It kills my old converters for sure.

At Novamusik they have a demo unit for $1249, and new for $1449. If they carry something, they're always the cheapest source. I wish they'd carry more high-end stuff...

It was just one unit they had that they didn't need.

It was at $2000 then it was sold to someone but they changed their minds, then it came up for $1600 and I just grabbed it.
There is no more there now it seems.

no prob. ive found other stores in AUS only advertise exact RRP and expect you to bargain them down from there - atr least the arck crew seem to be providing a decent service for musos (you will still save heaps ordering from OS if you arent concerned with warranty)

I think you already mentioned you live in syd - my memory is like a sieve. ;)

cheers
