Okay in multi mode i have the following sounds set up in the TI Desktop
midi channel 1 arp
midi channel 2 arp
midi channel 3 pad
1. i then record a 2 bar 1 note arp from midi channel 1 in this instants middle C into my dont laugh alesis mmt8 sequencer . the arp plays back no problem
2. i now record another 2 bar i note arp from midi 2 ..middle C again this seems to knock midi 1's arp timing and the playback of the 2 arps is not locked tight to the beat ..the drunken sailer effect
3. to compound the problem i now add a 3 note chord from midi channel 3 this knocks the timing even more so

All sounds used have no added voices... i have ttested with several different arps and pads same result

Also i have other gear set up a virus xl amongts it and i have no timing issues with any of them so i know my midi clock is in set up and in full working order

So therefore is this bug fixable of will i need to return for a refund

I have not update to the latest software is this relevant considering i will not be using the Ti with a pc based sequencer

Look forward to help on this

Yes, because the update contains a firmware upgrade for the actual hardware that fixes things, not just the virus control software.

The arp has a lot of problems at the moment, they will get fixed eventually but when is another matter :)

Thanks Ten
What is the update exactly do they fixx bugs such as this and will it rewrite the factory soundsets with others or is just technical

i have been testing the arp again this morning and i have to say its not on releasing such an expensive item for it to cause this much hassle so for the moment the multi mode is no go for me using arps that is
ah well

It won't re-write the factory presets.

ATTENTION all user multi mode is a nightmare i have tested now with sevral sequencers hardware and software the arp timing is slipping in and out realy annoyingly polphony is poor considering there is supposed to be 80 2 0r 3 sounds thats it i have used no unison etc......
Forget multi mode. at the moment the ti desktop is a single sound machine........................

passionclub...You don't have to be negative...Relax a bit ;)

You should try filling the support form on Access's site...I'm sure they have a solution for you.

I filled a form YESTERDAY and had a VERY descriptive and helpful explanation from Access this morning when I woke up(they answered EVERY question I had).

If you're saying "?1200 DOWN THE DRAIN" because the arp timing is not 100% right FOR THE MOMENT(we all know they will fix this), then maybe writing music is not for you. You seem very impulsive and aggressive in your posts...This place has always been very calm and helpful, let's try to keep it this way!

Do work for access
Am the only person that thinks faulty goods should not be sold you are obviously quite happy to be a guiny pig for access im not
And by the way i am a high profile producer and remixer and yes the arp lack of polyphony crackles and spats is not on i am not the only one saying this
Mines going back
All the best wth yours

This keyboard is in uncharted territory, there will be some problems that need to be fixed.

One bug in such a complex synth does not make it faulty. Its 1 thing out for like 4827391654 things the TI can do.

Access probably ignored your support request because you were a dick.

good luck with your TI'S ignorance is bliss

High profile producer and remixer sending back a synth because of the arp. Now that's really funny.

oh come on, it was obvious something was going to be slightly malfunctioning with it, even though they didn't release it for around a year past it's date...

...that's why i'm waiting a while before buying one, can't be dealing with all this contacting, emailing, updating etc.

so you would be quite happy writing away to find multi mode is useless
because it is ... try it yourself you will feel like i do guaranteed .
Do you have a TI
Try this
Multi mode
Midi channel 1 load up Rom L 51 no unison
Midi channel 2 load up Rom A 4 again take of unison
Now write in a 3 note chord sustaned over a 2 bar loop with L51
Next switch to mid channel 2 and play the same chord or other 3 note chords over the loop
The arp from L51 will not now warp in and out of time everytime
This is just 1 example

You think this is normal to accept in a serious project enviroment ..

rigamortis

no, i don't think it's acceptable, but i thought something like this would happen, which is why i'm waiting.

even longer.
