Good news! I'll definitely try that out tonight, I have been trying to get it to work with Live 5.0 with VirusControl and haven't had much luck. Hopefully this fixes most of the major issues.

Arp seems a fair bit better.....still getting some notes skipped/missing tho.....generally a lot more stable, havent had a single note hang/stuck in over an hour of play....good job, getting there :)

Nope - works fine here. Are you Mac or PC?

It's still the same here. No better or worse. MIDI timing is all wrong, popping noises and when I try to bounce a MIDI track to audio I end up with just high peaked digital noise.

Tinnitus: You have to export in real time.

Are you bouncing in realtime? And have you tried larger buffer sizes?

If your using cubase try this. go into device setup and then click on VST Audiobay , then expert, in there set audio priority to low and put a tick in adjust for record latency. Then in export select real time export.

It should work, let us know?

sonar audio engine is not gapless...so get yourself cubase sx

No I'm not bouncing in realtime, but I unchecked the option "fast bounce" in sonar and now that problem is solved :)

Nomatter what I set the buffer size to it's pretty much the same.

Thanks Ben.

Do you have a driver for that soundcard where you can change buffer size (latency) like on the RME cards? I had the same problem first time i ran it and found setting to 6ms solved it!

I've tried out cubase sx, but I think sonar gives you a much better workflow.

Thank you very much! :)

That helped alot, but the MIDI is still not as tight as when I run it with my MIDI interface and the analog outs.

Make sure to run the TI on a USB2 port thats not shared on the same buss by anything other than the TI. Do not use a USB HUB!
Make sure you have lattest bios and USB2 drivers for you motherboard before you install the software!

Check list

New updates are a major improvement for me, with some productive satisfaction at last.

What good news to come home... Should I still wait for the major bugs being fixed or buy that box? Don't know yet

Well I did a install with the new 1.05 on my powerbook and things seemed a little bit better but didn't seem like a big change so I was dissappointed at first.

But then I did a quick search for the word 'virus' in finder and deleted everything that came up that seem related to the virus and did a reinstall of just the midi/audio drivers.

Now I see a huge difference in performance and things seem much better. I have a stress test live set that would just bring the previous installs to their knees with no hope of staying in sync (lots of arpeggios and midi control messages) and that is staying in perfect timing now 8)

Not sure why but for whatever reason there must have been some left over code from the very first TI os install that I did (1.01?). But looks like I will actually be "integreated" this weekend  thanks access!

I still get hung notes at 65% cpu and 4 or 5 chanels of Virus Control using analog outs.

Ps, I get no LFO sync using normal midi cable in SEQ MODE - same patch syncs well with USB midi / Virus Control

Even with the 1.05 update I am still struggling a little bit to get it to work with my Live/Powerbook setup. I have a stress test live set with several arpeggios and lots of midi control data in the background (like pitch bend and modulation) and that just creates a "midi log jam" in which it sounds like the TI can't keep up with the data being sent to it. It really slows down playing the notes and then all of a sudden it will play a bunch of notes super fast to get back in sync.

Strange thing is that I could have sworn I had things working great Friday night, no 'log jams' to speak of. But then on this weekend things are getting worse again. One interesting thing is that I play the same Live set on my work laptop running windows xp and it plays it back fine. Makes me wonder if there is some 'magic' preference setting that I need to use on the powerbook or in Live so that things are better.

But at least I think I saw a glimpse of "total integreation" working on Friday night, not sure if it was real or a dream, either way it was a beautiful thing :D
