Threw this together tonight. Structure is not very DJ friendly, no mix/master, just a bunch of chunks thrown together. Let me know if I should finish it up. Suggestions, criticisms, comments welcome!

Jon,

I really dig that track Jon; please finish it!

It reminds me of the good old days, something like this would play towards the end of a great party, we'd all jump in my truck, and drive home past the beach, protected from the sunrise by dark sunglasses...

I don't think it needs much at all, just clean up the ending and tweak it as you like for a cherry of a track.

AWESOME!!!

Sounds really cool!

Nice stereo space with a smooth flowing groove.

So many ways to go from here if you're so inclined. Still having said that, the track works well and would fit well in a comedown/relax situation.

But....

Things I felt myself hoping would happen:
More evolving atmospheres - felt the pad to be a tad static and even automating an EQ on the high end of the beats would be nice.
Maybe some more fucking around with that vocal too - layering and running some different FX in parts just to spice it up a little.

More my personal taste than anything else though.

All up a smooth track Merl.
Production is good too.
Nice work!
