Virus Contol Poblem setting up with SX3.1 NEED HELR

Finally i got it delivered , awsome machine , sound fantastic . before
i received it i had slight fear of not would be able to model kinda Zawinuly sounds , was totaly wrong , with this thing you can paint any sond imaginale ,entirely love it.

now little moaning , believe me guys i read maual and i tried all posible
setup variations in cubae SX 3.1 but can not make Virus Control work
i have TI in Seq mode , calling up Virus VSTI , it comes on and starts
initializing and syinchin which is supposed to take seconds but progress bar is not moving , initializing is not happaenig . vConrol stads frozen,
as i said i tried ev'thing. in Cubase devise set up used my sound card ASIO Driver , Virus ASIO Driver didn't get anywhere .midi track settings -in and outs-tied averything . i have midi signal on midi track from my keaboard going alright . Virus Conrol is not initializing

Hi Artour,

Firstly, are you using Mac or PC?

And have you updated the TIOS to verison 1.06?

Basically, the more information you supply about your setup, the more likely someone can help you get this sorted out as quickly as poss.

i did upgrade bios , 1.06r2 , i'm running . i'm PC , PENTIUM 4 1.3 gHZ
768 ram . My computer is not fustest but i'm sure it is not issue with my problem

before i go on , yesterday i menaged to make it work but not completely.
the way around i found is to unplug usb and plug it back in ,the VControl
initializes itsef . now it comunicates with hardware ok but keyboard plugged directly in TI's midi in not producing a sound .

if somebody has similiar working set up Cubase SX 3.1 PC - Virus Ti desctop MIDIMAN 8X8 please explain how your SX's Devise manager and midi track iN-out is set up . or if you have any other ideas what might it be

I had the same trouble.
You have to use a USB bus only for the virus. I bought a USB PCI interface and all work fine. Try first to put the virus alone in the bus of your computer, remember that you can have twoo, four, etc USB connections, but all are the same bus on your mother board.
