did you reinstall the drivers?
BTW - there is never any point doing an OS reinstall for the TI itself, as there is no way the OS can get corrupted.
Dragonfly: have you pulled the power out of the TI completely or just done a power down?
I have had one or two big noise bursts like you mention and then it is silent, unless you do a cold boot.

Jepikajee :)
we got the sulotion here with access:
ben you were almoust right about the drivers ;)
I was reinstalling the drivers but that did not help me so access told me that remove the driver first and then install it back again, and that help'ed me out ! Now my virus sound interface is ok again ;)
Anyway if someone has same problem please remove this file :
/System/Library/Extensions/AccessVirusTI.kext
But do not reinstall it that wount help !
And then reinstall all !
Cheers ;)
