I don't think they will put it online anytime soon. Could you write a very short summary? the pros and cons?
I don't think those reviews are very Neutral, maybe they reflect more the growing banc account or the new lamborghini in front of the garage than the product itself... However, I still wonder what they write and unfortunately there's no available SOS in our bookstores here...

It'll be online tomorrow at the latest, I'd imagine.
Overall it's a good review. It acknowledges there are a few problems, including the problem with the arpeggiator, but doesn't dwell on them too much, in the sense that Access are likely to fix them.

No, subs only. You can read all the SOS mags online for $13.50 for a three month period if you wanted, so you can read all the latest articles from the the magazine on the internet instead of buying it at a newsagent. E-subs also unlocks and lets you access the whole back-catalogue of previous SOS mags.
If the latest issues were free immediately then no-one would buy the mag, uncluding all the Brits, unfort'. All articles become unlocked after six months, i think.

What did the review say?
There are two german magacines that release a review in their next issue, I'm gonna post here the result...

Just picked up the SOS TI review folks...
They reviewed version 1.02 on an Access Virus Polar Ti. Overall the review is constructive and is very favourable of the Ti. But it does clearly highlight the issues involving: -
No remote mode (as of yet)
No freeze function (as of yet)
Various bugs/glitches etc...
I think from what I have read it appears that Access have led the boys at SOS to believe that all the issues will be resolved in the very near future. And there was a footnote announcing the release of V1.03 software.

That's good news. I was worried they were going to give a bad review.
Who was the reviewer by the way?
Did SOS get a free Polar for keeps ?

Mark Wherry, with an excerpt from Derek Johnson. I suspect if it was Gordon Reid it would've been a different story.
Did SOS get a free Polar for keeps ?
No, they always make a habit of sending stuff back. Or the reviewer puts their money where their mouth is and buys the review/demo product.

Due to obvious copyright restrictions, that's not going to happen.
It does mention the latency wasn't too good (at 4ms and 5ms for in/out on Cubase (PC), and 3ms on Logic (Mac)), that the remote mode is currently disabled, mentions the "drunken arp" (from these forums!), blah blah blah. But doesn't overly dwell on these issues.
Otherwise, TBH, it basically describes and details the ins and outs of all of the functions of the TI, and the overall 'personal impression' side of things are good.

What do? Girl Next Door's turds? Wow, that's precision German engineering for you! Or has this thread drifted a bit off topic?
My copies of Sound on Sound usually stay resident in the bog for the whole month. Most of my mates haven't got a clue what it's about, although conversation usually drifts towards DSP chips or patchbays after someone has "been".
Mr O
Heads up, the online article is now available on SOS site (for subs).
