Do a Single Dump of each patch into your sequencer, and export to midi file.

Put a copy of this .mid into c:/My Documents/Access Music/Virus TI/Patches.

You should be able to see the file listed in the Browser when you click on Personal Libraries.

Wow, thanks for quick responce Ben! :) Especialy knowing you dont have to do this!

It sounds easy enough to do, ill ask my mate to mail me the midifiles.

Is there anything else I shall ask him to do? You just export a midi file of every patch dump seperately?

I don't see why you couldn't do them all in one. If it doesn't work, do them individually.

Inicidentally, if there are a lot of pathes, tell him to do a Bank dump.

this maybe a dumb question but are there empty patch banks so that you can create and save your own or will you have to delete some of the installed patches to do this. I have only heard the sounds of the TI from there site as there is no dealer near me. I have heard plenty of songs featuring the KC but am trying to determine if I can justify the purchase of a new TI over buying a used KC. I have been selling off some gear but if I go with a new TI my Moog Source will have to go leaving me with my Voyager AE, Emu Classic Keys module and the TI.

There are 4 banks of 128 patches that are are replicas of rom patches so can be overwritten without loosing anything.

And virus control lets you save stuff out easily anyway.
