Pls help. I?m hopefully just doing something wrong, right?
Thing is, im trying to record tracks in Cubase SX and midi is so strange. I have set the TI midiclock to follow external sync, told SX to send clock to TI and no matter what i do it wont play in sync. I can get the TI to play synced every now and then but only for a short period of time. And if i go back to the start of the song it will be out of sync again. Toggling between the choices in MIDIclock menu makes it go back in sync but only very briefly. Please give me a hint. I must be doning something wrong here right?
It?s a v1.0.8 TI and i?ve tested it on both SX 1,06 and SX 3..
thanks in advance
im having the same problem, only with flstudio.

SO...
Now i have tried everything(installling/uninstalling/reinstalling both XP/SX and Virus from 1.0.7 to 1.0.8) and finally a litte sunshine above the clouds!
My virus is now capable of syncing to midiclock almost 100%. But if i play the TI i can see and hear how it sometimes looses clock and it gives me some hickups. In record mode its as close to perfect it gets i believe.
So now im experiencing some new (to me that is) bugs.. The hanging notes are there evey now and then. That scary noice it makes when it hangs itself have made me jump a couple of times.. And if i have an 8bar loop going, when it?s getting to like the 5 or 6 bar the TI sort of "changes" some of the sounds. It kind of distorts or flanges the sound.
Also the TI changes the latency settings by itself as it sees fits for some reason. That i havent looked up in the manual, it might be what?s supposed to happen under heavier load? Like 4 parts or so.. Anyways, the sync is almost under control here now, and that my friends is beautiful! Now i?ll try getting rid of some of the other errors:)

actually ive noticed this too...very hard to put my finger on whats happening, but hearing you say that makes me wonder too... after tweaking around with something the virus sometimes sounds like its got some digital clipping/distortion coming through or something, even when returning the params to their original positions...changing to the next patch then back again seems to fix it (i think...will have to test further to confirm)
any ideas?
have a nice day
