I am trying to use it with Sonar 3.0 Producer and the latest version of VST adapter, and Sonar crashed to desktop every time I try to open the virus. Anyone else have better luck?

Nope ... well, I'm not even working with VC but the TI used to crash every 5th minute (in Sonar 4.0.4).
Does it work for you if you don't use VC? How did you connect the TI? Do you use the Midi-Clock?
Cheers,
glen
Hi,
For the moment, VC with Sonar 4.04 is almost fully fonctional. Apart the usual arp drifts and hanging notes, the main issue I have is that I cannot bounce in realtime without nasty pops/Crackles. So I use tape-it or voxengo recorder to mixdown the Virus plugin outputs.
But I didn't have any plugin crash for the moment. Did you update the vst adapter ?

I use midi clock for sync, and run audio from the TI into my system via analog inputs. I would prefer the VC, but I can't get it to go in Sonar 3.

It also works sort of ok in Sonar 5. It's a bit unstable as I do have more problems with the sonar program "hanging" when using VC in a project.
Of course I also have the stuck notes etc...
The other thing "I mentioned in other post" is that when you load VC in a project ALL other Dxi/vsti's will have a delay when playing note from the keyboard. When playing the project , everything is correctly timed. I think the problem is with the delay compensation of the VC. Sonar seems to think it needs to delay all notes from the other plugins a bit to compensate. Hope they will fix that as it's the only big problem.
