sorry for this....but i was reading Musictech review of Virus Ti and can honestly say that is the worst review i have ever seen.....it made me angry and made me laugh at the same time....please musictech...i used to buy you until now.....
just so you can imagine what they say....one of the strongest point they recomend you to buy the TI is....WORKS AS ADVERTISED 8O ..you get the idea...
Like some Future Music reviews...
Sounds like Access has it all figured out - they got a fully working OS but that only goes out with TI's that are being sent out to all the "worthy" people..
Then again, he just might got a really good setup and got help from Access.. Who knows, for some the TI seems to be working just fine.
If they have fixed all the problems, why do they keep it secret from us? Are we worthless?? Sound on sound review was good but I don't trust reviews from magazines, they sound too commercial to be true.

Also another thing the review says is......Virus TI shows up as a soundcard 24bit/192 khz..... 8O
please....a kissass review is one thing...but dont confuse loyal readers so badly......
as a matter of fact before buying the Ti myself my idea was to use it as soundcard, until I found out its only 16/44khz as soundcard.
If you check the test spec on the machines they are so speced up it's not true.
The SOS one was a dual Carillon 3.4 I think with 4gig of Ram ffs!

The USB audio via Virus Control is 16/44.1Khz but the Asio driver is capable of 24/192Khz. I have even used the asio driver at 32bit.

I think you should be able to get that bit depth/sample rate with core audio as well
