Today one month ago, I have ordered the TI, and it's still not arrived :-(

Why does it take so long? Access, are you doing that intentionally to prevent the price dropping?

OK just got back, and yea they announced a version 1.1, which is supposedly much more stable and supports the remote functions finally, they also gave me some tricks to reduce latency in virus control.... version 1.1 should be on the web any day now, so I wanna get that going then see what i should do from there ... looked to work pretty good over there on their machines, they were all Logic 7 on OSX tiger

Are you serious mate? This sounds like a miracle to me, but I dont believe in miracles, version 1.1 is 3 versions ahead from 1.0.8 and the problems that I face do not seem to be solved so quickly.

in my opinion, this doesn't look like the big new thing to be announced. on their website, they say that they'll do a snake preview only eventually, so we probably gotta wait...

dr. Orange: It took me 24 hours to get a Ti here, in north europe. The store was out of stock, but they ordered it from the importer, and it was there the next day. Are you shure the shop you ordered it from has not forgot about you???

Yes, he knew about the availability issues at the moment and contacted access to experience when the next virus models arrive. according to what access said, the virus must have been arrived one week ago, but I think this week being late is nothing to worry about. I also contacted other shops and they told me the same, that they cannot guarantee that the virus will be available even before february...

Well, I think I'll send another eMail just to be assured that he didn't forget me...

At the moment, I manage the situation without virus by doing some acieeeed :P

Hey hey, i'm just reporting what I saw, I picked the brains of a few guys there and there wasn't some crazy huge news like it was made out to be... I guess it would be the remote mode as far as "new things u can do with your virus" I'm axiously waiting the 1.1 though, I did see that and I know they skipped a few numbers, but I personally dont care what number they put down as long as it works... i'll post the latency workaround later, i tried it out and it did work a lot better

Turnkey will ship to Germany I think (both desktop and keyboard in stock). Also Thomann - they have the desktop in stock. Just notced they have the MachineDrum UW in as well - very tempting :)

WOW guys!! There is a new TI video over on sonicstate detailing the OS1.1 with the added new features. All I can say is OMFG. They've included user importable waves, true FM (of the six operator kind!!) and a new filter section. The new filter apparently includes a Prophet emulation.

As far as existing midi sync issues, and other bugs....these too have been dramitically improved.

Sounds like its going to be happy days for TI users after all 8)

I said sometime ago that for finiancial reasons (as well as a few others) im holding out for a MK2 version of the TI.

You know, I understand you perfectly. I am 100% sure most hardware synths in 2 or 3 years will adopt Total integration. (see new synths that are being presented at Namm) But I don't want to feel like I'm being used for experiments. I'll buy a TI when it's really a TI.
