What must I do for importing the Arp42.mid file into the VirusControl VSTi, too short description in the readme.pdf :(

(42 Arp Patches: http://www.access-music.de/downloads.php4?product=virustikeyboard
The "42 Arp Patches" choice does not show when selecting downloads for the polar versjon.)

No, its a fair question. These are arp patterns not patches.

Not too sure myself...

They are patches aren't they? - 42 of them, with different user arp patterns programmed in. User arp patterns are stored within a patch (one per patch). So, Girl Next Door is correct - you just import the soundset in your usual way.

My way would be to import the midi file into my sequencer of choice, and transmit the sysex data over midi. Girl Next Door's method is to use Virus Control. Whatever suits.

I think the advantage of using Virus Control is that you can then copy the user-programmed arp from one patch to another, something you cannot do from the synth front panel.

The ARP42 was just the programmers choice of name for the Midi file...He could of called it Doggysdangleberries.mid
And as your Man says,Arp patterns are within the patch which is within the midi file...We have our own soundset with loads of different Arp patterns on certain patches (Great for house music)
