Hello.
I got a problem with the recording loudness of my Virus TI.
It happened two days ago, suddenly my Virus was recorded by the soundcard (M-Audio Delta1010lt) only with half the loudness. It happened after I wanted to telefone with skype, which had problems with that soundcard.
I've tried a reinstall of the OS (1.09), a reset by holding Arp-edit and I reinstalled the driver of my soundcard.
I#m not really sure if it is the Virus, because he still has the same loudness on the headphones, while the Delta still records the microphon on the normal level.
What could be the Problem here? could it aso be a problem with the cable?
I hope you can help me

Check your soundcard settings within the control panel in windows also your soundcard settings within the control panel for the soundcard software..it sounds like Main out..If there is no probs there then deinstall and reinstall your soundcard

I didn't change the settings, they are still the same.
the outputs are not the problem, I just have this on the line-inputs.
I think I'll try to reinstall the card
P.S.:I'm using Mac, not windows.
but thx for your answer!

ok, I reinstalled the card, but it didn't help
does anybody know how to make a hard reset on the virus?
Not reinstalling os or patches!

Have you tried plugging the Virus directly into your amp/speakers? I'm guessing you're talking about the audio outs and not USB streaming right?

I tried to plug it directely into the speakers, but it was the same.
I also tried the different analog-outputs, and I noticed that I get the highest volume (without changing master volume or patch volume) using analog out 2, but with Analog out 3L selected in the settings o.O
I tried to install an older OS on the Virus, but I only managed to reinstall the software. Is there a way to make a factory reset?

I'm at a loss really. You've tried everything I would have. It could be one for the Access help desk.
