View Full Version : To good to be true? Moog Voyager ?200
Guys,
Just want your opinion. This guy on Ebay is selling some Moog Voyagers. ?300 each to buy!! although you have to buy 2, so ?600. Is this fishy or what?
He's saying you can buy all ten off him for ?2000. Funny thing is though he keeps changing his e-mail address from day to day and I can't tally up his address on mapping websites. hmmmm
He wants cash on a Western Union money transfer which I know can be dodgy.

Beware of strangers bearing gifts!
If it seems too good to be true it usually is.
Aye, think you're right there mate. Voyagers for ?300 though - ooooohhh would be nice.
Would you trust anyone who wears these?:-

(PS > Western Union transfer is also a most resoundingly definate no no.
....Ask him if you can pick one up and pay cash on delivery. http://www.gobo.dsl.pipex.com/images/gremz/tongue.gif )

If you can pick them up and pay cash as Timo is saying, I'd say go for it!
Mmmm....I could do with a Voyager myself. Think I'll give those white pants a miss though. 8O
Sounds a funny guy though eh? purveyor of synths and trousers.

WESTERN UNION? KEEP AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!
Seriously, don't ever pay with western union. It's dangerous, risky, and there is no insurance on the thing. When he's got the money he's going to keep them forever. Propose a local pickup to him, he'll go nuts if he's a scammer.
I almost got scammed by a similar guy when i bought my Korg Karma, he wanted 600$ (which is a pretty good price) through western union. I proposed to him a local pickup and got a very aggresive reaction from him ("What!?!? I don't have time for such stupid thing!!!). What a f*cking jackass.
Seems that ebay felt the same way:
