WHat are they?

Apart from VirusTI vsti being available on a MIDI track there are also these two virus MIDI and another one virus synth, I guess. But they do not seem to work.

What are they for?

____________

I use cubase sx 1

"Virus MIDI" are the physical MIDI ports on the TI made available for use by the host computer.

"Virus Synth" are the TI hardware - outgoing to the synth engine (except when VC is running) and input from the controls and keyboard.

Typically with VC running, you use Virus Synth as input to record what you are playing as midi and ignore the rest unless you are also using it as a midi interface for your computer.

Apart from VirusTI nothing seems to work (that is 3 other things), or MB I make settings wrongly.

There are

IN channel
-virusTI

-virus TI midi
-virusTI synth
-access virusTI (Virus TI synth) appeared since I added TI in device manager

OUT channel
-virusTI [WORKS fine]
-virus TI midi
-virusTI synth

I have tried various configurations.

Now, I would like to control the TI vst also with its hardware controllers - not only with x-station's, as before.
I'm sure I have to select something in IN channel for the particular track and make it monitored - I can do it with x-station, but not with TI

Pls help.

And one more thing:
what it this:
"access virusTI (Virus TI synth)"

and where to plug it (in or out)
and how to use it (all I know is that since I installed patchnames, they are there in cubase's program window

xstation first, not without problems, than virus - problem free.
