Thanks for all your feedback, opinions and such......This is a new day for me in gear land, besides collaberating with a nord lead in the past, I have always had bullshit hardware ala roland mc505, emu......
And Reason was not cutting it anymore........

I hope to climb out of my hole in a few months with some insight as to how this beast works.....I hope this goes easy, I don't have much hair to loose over this

I went with the keyboard.......Khazul gave me some insight that helped move the decision away from the polar model.

LOL I did exactly the same thing. Was a little worried about not having gear I knew how to use around me all the time, but once those shitty pieces of gear went out I haven't looked back! Congrats...

Congrats! When access gets the DP support up, we should be going great.

Na, I'm sure you will play it until your fingers or bleed (maybe even both!). When I got my Virus I just played for months and months before making any tracks with it. Very inspiration synth - what ever strain you buy.

yeah, I'm like that too, when I get a new toy, my tracks go dormant until my honeymoon is over with the new gear, then the tracks resume....

The Virus "honeymoon" lasted a fair while with me.

Re-reading my post above...I meant to write 'ears bleed'. Somehow e,a,r and s keys were playing up on my keyboard. 8O :D

That's what the http://www.sunesha.nu/virusforum/templates/subSilver/images/lang_english/icon_edit.gif button's for. :D

Hey Aisling,

I use the VC plugin to handle the patches in the Virus. I have considered building my own XML file but have had too much fun just making patches and saving them in the VC library. Depending on how good the motu support goes, I may build a patch list. I'll keep you posted. One of the main reasons I got the virusTI was the ease of patch management.

Cheers, Nailgun

If people can sue MC Donlalds with obesity suits, others can sue tobacco companies on cancer/health issues......
I wonder if I can sue roland for making me loose my hair, reading and trying to undertand their manuals......
