Virus C - Ringing Sound - Please Help

I just bought a used Virus C. When playing a sequence, sometimes the patch will add a high pitch ringing sound. I can clear it by changing the preset and going back to it, but then I would lose the changes made.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I have already booted up in factory default mode, and I'm running OS 6.5. Suggestions or thoughts? Anyone have this problem?

Hey,

I had a Virus C before my Ti and this happened to me too. I think the high pitched ringing is caused somehow by the phaser, not sure why though. I just used to turn the phaser down.
