Hi all,

i am really desperate and i don't know what to do, but i can not render a track from midi to an audio track without having sync problems.

every time i render a midi track of my poco virus to audio it looses either sync, it does some weird things, tonalwise or it is just a few milliseconds behind 1.

i really don't know what to do, i already sent an email to tc support, but still no answer. i already tried different things, like dialing in the tempo instead of sync. tried reinstalling, different latencies from my motu 828, realtime rendering etc.

still no luck,

anyone here got a solution for that?

thanks in advance,

Alex

different latencies from my motu 828,
I also have the MOTU 828 mk2 and i find the lower the Latency the more stable the Apr is running (I presume you mean APR) the only reason we have to higher the latency is cause we have ASIO problems when running software VSTis (Z3ta+,Korg,RMX,Trilogy)
Have you lowered the Latency right down to 128 switched off everything in your sequencer (No just bypass, take them out) all effects off so you only have the Ti running. Then bounce to Audio??If you are still having problems i should wait till 1.1..
Is your PC Audio optimized...??

hey,

i found the resolution. you have to render in realtime in cubase to get rid of the weird audio stuff.

also it doesn't matter how i set my latency, it is 96 or 2048, it is always the same. the bounced audio is most of the time between 7-10 ms behind.

all for the moment i can do is to render in realtime and set the midi virus track around 7-10 ms and hope that there will be a 1.1 version of the poco virus. ... but i don't hope tho.

yes my pc is audio optimized. depends on what you mean by that. windows is a whole mess anyway :) ... but macs aren't any better
